ORAL HISTORIES

The cornerstone of the Go For Broke National Education Center is its Hanashi Oral History Program interview archive. With hundreds of interviews in its collection, the Hanashi oral history videos are some of the last primary sources of World War II Japanese American veteran information.

Through the Hanashi Oral History Video Archive, the Go For Broke National Education Center can create curriculum materials and educational tools for teachers and students; produce educational documentaries such as “A Tradition of Honor;” and provide researchers and the public with first-hand accounts of WWII Japanese American veteran information.
