Tradition of Honor DVD

EXPLORE THE HISTORY, HORROR AND HEROICS OF WORLD WAR II FROM THE PERSPECTIVE OF JAPANESE AMERICAN SOLDIERS WHO SERVED IN THE EUROPEAN AND PACIFIC THEATERS.

Theirs is a story of iron courage that is – to this day – unmatched in US history. Their battles in the European Theater are legendary. Their valiant rescue of the "lost battalion" is considered one of the top battles in US Army history. Their ingenious attack strategy breached the Gothic Line, accomplishing in 34 minutes what had stymied Allied forces for six months. Their gut-wrenching charge through a seemingly impenetrable German barricade led to the liberation of Rome.

On the other side of the world, Japanese American soldiers served as top-secret linguists, intercepting and decoding crucial messages in the Pacific War, saving countless lives.

They accomplished all this while many of their families lived behind barbed wire fences in incarceration camps.

Includes over 20 minutes of bonus footage and a Nisei veterans photo gallery by Shane Sato, with music by Harold Payne.
