BLUE STAR FAMILIES!

GFBNEC's Defining Courage Exhibition is one of more than 2,000 museums across America to offer FREE admission to military personnel and their families this summer in collaboration with the National Endowment for the Arts, Blue Star Families, and the Department of Defense.

Teachers and Students Free for the rest of 2017!

Thanks to a generous sponsorship by the Aratani Foundation, teachers and students can enter the Defining Courage Exhibition FREE OF CHARGE for the remainder of 2017.

HOLIDAY HOURS

We will be closing at 2pm on the following days: Wednesday, November 22 (day before Thanksgiving), Sunday, December 24 (Christmas Eve), and Sunday, December 31 (New Year's Eve).

Exhibition Hours

  • Monday – closed
  • Tuesday – 11 am – 6 pm
  • Wednesday – 11 am – 6 pm
  • Thursday – 12 pm – 8 pm
  • Friday – 11 am – 6 pm
  • Saturday – 10 am – 6 pm
  • Sunday – 11 am – 6 pm

Final visitor admissions are accepted 20 minutes before closing.

Closed: Fourth of July, Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Year's Day

Guided tours for school groups by appointment, Tuesday through Friday. Please call 310-222-5710.

Combination Ticket to GFBNEC and the Japanese American National Museum

$8 for Seniors (62 and older), Students with ID, and Youth (age 6-17)

Every Thursday from 5-8 pm is free admission

Every third Thursday of the month is free admission ALL DAY

All veterans and active-duty military receive free admission on Veterans Day.

Visiting the Go For Broke Monument is always free!
