GO FOR BROKE MONUMENT 24TH ANNIVERSARY VIRTUAL TRIBUTE
Saturday, June 3, 2023 at 2:00 P.M. PDT
Featuring “Honor A Veteran” digital tributes and a special virtual tribute program. Watch live on YouTube and Facebook!
About
Every year on the first Saturday in June since 1999, GFBNEC has held a community gathering in Little Tokyo, Los Angeles, to commemorate the Go For Broke Monument, a striking dedication to honor the more than 16,000 Japanese American men and women who bravely served during WWII.
This year we celebrate this hallmark event with a special virtual tribute program that will highlight the Go For Broke spirit and legacy of the American WWII soldiers of Japanese ancestry.
Join us as we honor the remarkable story of the Nisei veterans’ courage, patriotism and sacrifice. It is a great American story that will be forever remembered within the Go For Broke Monument. We invite you to become a 2023 Go For Broke Monument Anniversary Sponsor and make a Veteran Floral Tribute and/or place an “Honor A Veteran” Digital Tribute (see below for details).
