Go For Broke Monument 25th Anniversary Tribute Sunday, June 2, 2024, 2 PM PDT
Since its dedication in 1999, on the first Saturday of June, the Go For Broke Monument Anniversary Tribute is held to commemorate the Monument’s dedication to honor the more than 16,000 Japanese American men and women who served during WWII and whose names are forever etched into the monument’s granite.
Join us for a delightful and relaxed evening filled with live music, delicious food, entertaining games, and much more. This intergenerational and multicultural gathering promises an enjoyable time for everyone. We invite the public to come and experience the festivities in the back parking lot at Nishi Hongwanji Buddhist Temple, nestled in the heart of downtown Los Angeles’ Historical Little Tokyo.
